Storm Hawks - Repton

Oh, god...

Meet Repton, the ruler of Terra Bogaton. He's a skilled hunter, and many squadrons have fallen by his hand, including Starling's old team. He has three bumbling brothers named Hoerk, Spitz, and Leugey, who drive him crazy. While technically a rogue, he is often employed by Master Cyclonis.

As you can probably tell, Repton looks quite different from his series counterpart. I was originally going to make him a lot smoother, but I saw this spikey-scaled lizard on the internet and I'm like, "Oh yeah, I'm gonna do that to Repton!!" And... yeah. It's no where near looking like the lizard I saw, but I liked the way it turned out. I like Repton, and I wanted to make him look menacing. His clothes are in even worse shape than most of the other characters, there's red you-know-what on his clothes and hide, and I felt that drawing him with his back facing the audience while he glares at you over his shoulder was pretty sinister.

I'm sorry it took so long to get him up. He was ungodly tedious, and I hadn't figured out everything beforehand, so I had to keep going back and fix stuff. I was going to use hatching and crosshatching like I did with Junko, but when I tried doing it with Photoshop, it looked terrible. That's what I get for trying to substitute Photoshop for drawing it freehand. Repton is not my favorite character, but I think he's my favorite picture so far. And sorry, but I'm not doing his brothers.
